Terms of Service

1. What IndiaUnbox is

IndiaUnbox is a B2B marketplace that connects buyers with Indian suppliers. We provide the platform — search, RFQs, messaging, order tracking, and GST-based supplier verification — but we are not a party to the underlying sale between a buyer and a supplier. Contracts for goods, pricing, quality, and delivery are agreed directly between buyer and supplier.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. Accounts are for a single business or individual; if you invite team members under Settings → Manage Team, you're responsible for their activity on your account.

You choose an account type — buyer, supplier, or both — at signup. Contact support if you need this changed later.

3. Supplier verification

Suppliers may submit a GSTIN for verification. We check submitted numbers against government records; a Verified badge reflects that check, not an endorsement of product quality, business practices, or ability to fulfill orders. We may suspend a badge if GST registration lapses or is cancelled, or if we receive credible reports of marketplace policy violations.

4. Listings, RFQs, and conduct

Suppliers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings — pricing, MOQ, specifications, and product images. Buyers are responsible for the accuracy of RFQs and enquiries they post.

You may not post false, misleading, or infringing content; misrepresent your identity or business; attempt to circumvent the platform's messaging to solicit users off-platform for the purpose of avoiding marketplace policies; or use the platform for any unlawful purpose.

We may remove listings, enquiries, or reviews, and suspend or terminate accounts, that violate these terms.

5. Payments and plans

Free and Starter plans have no cost. Growth plan upgrades are a one-time payment processed via Razorpay — not a recurring subscription, so you are never auto-billed again after upgrading. Enterprise terms are agreed directly between you and our team.

See our Refund Policy for how refund requests on plan payments are handled. Payments between buyers and suppliers for goods themselves are arranged directly between the parties and are not processed by IndiaUnbox.

6. Reviews

Reviews must reflect a genuine transaction experience. We may remove reviews that are fraudulent, off-topic, or violate applicable law, but we don't edit or suppress reviews simply because a supplier disagrees with them.

7. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the content you post (listings, images, messages). By posting it, you grant IndiaUnbox a license to display it on the platform as needed to operate the marketplace. The IndiaUnbox name, logo, and platform design are our property.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

IndiaUnbox is provided "as is." We work to verify suppliers and keep the platform reliable, but we don't guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or delivery of any product listed, or that any RFQ will result in a completed transaction.

To the extent permitted by law, IndiaUnbox is not liable for disputes, losses, or damages arising from transactions between buyers and suppliers. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the platform itself is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these terms or use of the platform is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi NCR.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Continued use of IndiaUnbox after an update means you accept the revised terms.
